Located on Torrs Park, the pool is sited at the bottom of the beautifully peaceful and tranquil gardens of the hotel.

The pool is 10 metres in length and 5 metres wide, with a constant depth of 1.2 metres. There are steps at both ends of the pool. The pool is an average temperature of 31 degrees and poolside can get very warm if you are watching. Please be aware that a Jacuzzi and sauna are also located in the building and that children must be supervised whilst in the building.

The changing facilities are located within the building, with one communal changing room and a toilet. At present there is no shower, but one is being fitted in the near future.

Located on the outskirts of Barnstaple, at the top of the mile long driveway which meanders through the stunning countryside is North hill.

The pool is housed in an oak beamed building, 10 metres in length by 4 metres wide with a depth from 1 to 1.38 metres. The pool temperature is an average 30 degrees, access to the pool is down the steps located in the both the shallow and deep end. There is a small toddler pool adjacent to the main pool, which your children may use either before or after their lesson, however they are your responsibility at this time. A Jacuzzi is also located in the building, please ensure that no children enter as it is an average of 40 degrees.

There is a small changing room with shower and toilet, but there is plenty of room to get changed on poolside.

Private lessons are available at this pool, during public swimming sessions. 1:1’s and 2:1’s can be taught currently on Mondays both afternoons and evenings, Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Lessons are booked with us, and not through the leisure centre
