Adult and child
(0 to 3 years)

We follow the STA (Swimming Teachers Association) starfish programme, and our lessons have been affiliated with the STA’s Starfish scheme. This programme covers all areas of water enjoyment for the under 3’s. There are no more than 6 per class with the teacher in the water. Songs and games are a big aspect of our lessons, and we use a wide variety of toys to encourage movement, social skills and water confidence. There are 6 starfish levels to find out more click here.

Learn to swim
(3 years +)

With a maximum of 6 per class, a fully qualified instructor and often an experienced assistant per class these lessons offer excellent teaching.

We follow the ASA’s Learn to swim programme and our lessons are broken down into stages. Click below for more details

We also regularly test for distance awards, which reward you for distances up to 100 metres in all 4 strokes (demonstrating correct technique), plus other distance badges can be achieved up to a 5 mile award.

We also run Personal survival and water skills courses. Brownie and scout badges can also be tested.

Adults

At all of our pools, we are able to offer adult lessons, you will have exclusive use, with no spectators. Our classes are exceptionally small with there being a maximum of 3 adults in at any time. We can help with all areas of swimming, from the complete non-swimmer to a more advanced swimmer who needs help with technique or tumble turns.

The cost is £12.50 per half hour for the group lessons.

If you would prefer private lessons, please contact me.

Holiday Lessons
